2-Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (2-HEA) is an ester of Acrylic acid and is used as a raw material component in the synthesis of polymers. The ester is a monofunctional methacrylate monomer with a characteristic high reactivity of methacrylates and a branched hydrophobic moiety. It forms homopolymers and copolymers which can be obtained with acrylic acid and its salts, amides, and esters, as well as methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic esters, butadiene, and other monomers.
2-Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (2-HEA) is also a very useful feedstock for chemical syntheses because it readily undergoes addition reactions with a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds.

Usage:
Hydroxyethyl acrylate is mainly used in heat curing acrylic coating resin, light curing acrylic coating resin, photosensitive coating resin, water-soluble electroplating coating resin, Adhesive, textile processing agent, ester processing and polymer modifier, polycarboxylate superplasticizer, etc. Its main advantages are less dosage, but can significantly improve the product performance.
Transportation and storage:
1. Avoid the sun and cover with heat-insulating materials when storing in the open air;
2. Moisture can promote polymerization reaction, and water inflow should be avoided;
3. Storage period: 6 months at room temperature;
4. Avoid collision during transportation, rinse with clean water in case of leakage;
